Description
I am not as sweet as I used to be.A portrait of lost innocence. Both images mirror my own haunted face. One is from 1971 and the other from 2002. Mingled in a dusty reliquary.

I have 2 questions for you, Annika (feel free not to answer if you find them intrusive). I'm sure I'm not the only one to wonder:
1- Are you completely dedicated to Art to make a living or do you do something else?
2- Why did you choose the name "Belletrist"? Is there a painful past still haunting you?
Once again, feel free to discard my questions if you perceive them as abusive in any way. I'm just curious.

Thanks for your interest. I have decided to give up my every secret, most of which are no longer private anyway.
1). Painting is just a distraction. I am a novelist and a medicine student (few months short of being able to add a string of letters after my name).
2). A "Belletrist" is an author of belle's lettres, or a writer who writes literature for aesthetics rather than didactic value.
And as for the haunting past ... You'll have to come visit me in my silent garden sometime. I'll leave the light on for you

But i get the feeling that just because it's an elite artist everyone goes OHHH MY GOD SWEET MOTHER OF JESUS!!! THAT IS AWESOME!!! (exaggerated but hey...) well i think that is a bit much,so ill give it 3 of 5.
Reasons why i'm not amazed as many others seem to be: im not too fond of the composition, and the white smudge is a bit too obvious.
Just wanted to be constructive, not negative.
keep em coming
