Description

One of my early works revamped; a composition of digital painting and photo-manipulation. The muse was digitally painted, the background a combination of photo-manipulation, brush imprints and digital painting.

Tools: PS 6, Wacom, and a photo of S. Seymour was used for reference.

First of all i think this is a nice idea for a composition. I dont go along with all te wow excellent and so on postings, but then again i dont think that is what u expect from a posting. Too much feathers up one's ass works confusing. I like what i see let that be clear from the start but there is something i miss. I miss depth in the composition, it doesnt pull me in and that is what i wanted to feel looking in those eyes. You can make her expression so much more powerfull. The reflection in the water:again nice detail, but too flat to be convincing.

The real challenge is clarity and depth i feel with this piece.

You have more potential then you are showing, push the limits.
