Description

I always spend one of the first days of every New Year alone in a certain silent garden not too far from where I live. Someone very close to me is laid to rest there. I walk the rows of snow-covered tombstones for hours whilst I try to remember her face. I walk until my hands and feet are numb from the cold and my bleeding heart feels like a frozen river. I listen to the stillness and sometimes - I swear- I can hear her.

I believe in all things I cannot see with my human eye. And today I captured one of my fleeting visions on film. This picture was not manipulated, mind you.

Assistens Kirkegaard. Copenhagen. January 2, 2003.

It is unfortunate that some of the best art stems from tragedy.

Again your work really touches something inside of me, it beautiful, amazing.

Although this picture seems very lifeless (in my opinion), maybe its the lack of colour, although the "Guardian Angel" seemed full of life and that had very little colour in it. . or maybe its just me.

But definately a fantastic picture, a 5+ from me.

this got a lot of "life"and emotion in it! Maybee you shuld say colorles, but again it is a black and white photo.. is it out of motion.. naaa its some thing flouting in the air ... and a movment in the dry flowers moves in to the middle of the photos like a soft wave, lack of life?, nopp its tracks in the snow. And the gostly feeling of something present in there IS there... (in my opinium) That is what I se! :) Lifless? Naaaaaaaaaaa ;) LOL

Hi! I couldn't help but take note of the "ghost" on the right side of the picture. It has an uncanny resemlence to a picture that belongs to one of my friends. She sent her picture to www.ghoststudy.com Did you get inspiration from that website?
