interesting that you've chosen to define a dying mermaid by portraying everything except the one thing that would make her visibly a mermaid? Is this some part of a larger piece or are you trying to be all postmodern?

I like how the tail is not in view...gives it a bit of mystery

the whole atmosphere of the cool blue waters and sky just casts a spell on me...wonderful work!
